Bambu Lab PLA Aero

Bambu Lab PLA Aero is perfect for ultra-lightweight 3D printing projects like UAVs, gliders, and aerodynamic models. It foams at high temperatures, forming tiny air pockets that reduce weight and save energy. The matte surface makes coloring easy. It also includes a Bambu Lab reusable spool, helping you reduce plastic waste. For best results, dry the filament properly and follow Instructions for printing aircraft model with foaming PLA (PLA Aero).

Low Density and Light Weight

Bambu PLA Aero has almost the same filament density as regular PLA, while the prints density is only 50% to 80%.

Printing Tips

• PLA Aero filament is relatively soft which may result in material loading and unloading failures during AMS printing.

• Drying conditions: 55℃ for 8 hrs. PLA Aero is highly sensitive to humidity. To achieve optimal printing performance, it is recommeded further drying before use and after storage. For more details please refer to: Filament drying instructions on WIKI.
