The 3D Printer Filament Storage Box is designed to keep filaments dry and to dehumidify various types of filaments, especially moisture-sensitive materials. The filament can be heated in the box for hours at a specific temperature.
Why is filament drying important?
If print materials are too moist, this affects the print quality. The print gets air bubbles, warped edges or pulls unsightly strings.
These unpleasant printing errors can be avoided by drying the filament.
Compatible with a wide variety of materials
Creality Filament Dry Box is compatible with most 1kg filament spools on the market and is suitable for filaments with an outer diameter of up to 200 mm and a maximum width of 75 mm.
Easy Handling
The temperature and heating time can be easily set using a rotary knob. The filament can be heated from 2 to 8 hours.
- The drying box heats up quickly and has a built-in fan that circulates the hot air through 360° inside the chamber, evenly heating the entire chamber.
- The heating temperature range is 45℃-65℃, suitable for multiple filaments such as PLA, ABS, ASA, PETG, TPU, PP, PC, PA, etc.
- Real-time humidity monitoring and drying hours are displayed via a countdown timer, allowing you to track drying conditions.
- After drying, it can effectively solve the problems of drawing, clogging, and poor adhesion of the filaments during printing and improve print quality.
